INTRODUCTION

The trek to Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful short trek in Himachal Pradesh. From Solang Nallah, the route winds through the famous Solang Valley. Solang valley is famous for its ski slopes & Para gliding. On this trek you will see amazing views of lush green meadows,glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks. The trail goes via Dhundi and Bakarthach to enter the Beas Kund glacier, the birthplace of the River Beas.This is an enjoyable and Moderate level trek. It is recommended for both beginners as well as experienced.

EXPEDITION DETAIL

Day 1Manali -Solang

on arrival in solang,you chek in to a hotal/tents at solang 12 km far from manali 2600 mtr, rest for a while if you wish to and then proceed on a sightseeing trip for the day with oneof our team a sightseeing trip for for the day with one of our team members/guides.this could also include a village tour or similar activities, if you so choose. solang is famous for paragliding in summer and in winter for skiing, and also so many adventure activities are there like atv bike,ropway.

Day 2 Solang To Dhundi (3000)mtr 2-3 hrs trek

stat treking from solang to dhundi,passing through alpine forest,along the beas streams.overnight in tent.

Day 3 Dhundi to Bakarthatch (35000)mtr 3-4 trek

overnight in tents, baker thatch is famous for ice training and snowcraft.

Day 4Bakarthatch To Beaskund and Back Bakarthatch

beas is situated at 4000 mtr the source of beas river, can see groups of peaks and very near by beaskund glacier. peaks like, hunuman tibba, ladakhi peak, shetidher.friendship peak,seven sister etc.

Day 5Back To Solang

from bakarthatch to Dhundi treaking and then by jeep solang fresh and change in hotal, lunch, move to manali, evening depature to Delhi with sweet memories.
